page numbers -- where are they?
Hi,
I just moved to Logos 10 (from 9). Used to be, when I copied something I'd get a page number in the citation. I no longer am... Any way to turn that on? "Visual Filters" doesn't even have 'page numbers' as an option. :-(
Thanks for any help!

This did not change between the two versions. However, a number of things that control it may have.
Question 1: Does the resource have page numbers? Not all do. If you look at the Information Panel (Panel menu - three vertical dots on upper right > Information > Indexes > Page ... if page is not there, there are no page numbers in the book.
Question 2: Does the citation format you are using, use page number?

Thanks for the quick reply, MJ. Smith.
Answer 1: Wha...? There's not even Indexes, let alone Page... :-( Is that even allowed?! :-P I'm being silly--but only kind of. Page numbers seem pretty fundamental, to me. Is there a known 'work around'? Or am I just out of luck...?
Answer 2: Yes (APA Style, 7th ed.)

Sounds like an eBook rather than Logos Reader or Logos Research edition. So yes, that means the source provided by the publisher had no page number. The publisher files are simply run through an automated process to convert into the Logos format. So, yes, you have a book without page numbers or any other index. Not common but not uncommon either ...
