L/V 10+ Tip of the Day #142 Notable People dataset
Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10+ Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.

Documentation for this dataset is provided by Parks, Jessica. Notable People Dataset Documentation. Bellingham, WA: Faithlife, 2021. Note that this is a datatype not a label so only a simple search is possible. The format in the documentation has to be converted to the current search syntax. A Search all provides a link to the Factbook.
The data for Notable People is viewable in Factbook. The roles are standardized; it could be useful to be able to search them although no such suggestion has been made.

Missing data in the Equivalent Concepts sections hinder finding an individual referred to in multiple ways in Factbook or for adding Factbook tags.
It is the biography tagging that allows a user search to find a person regardless of the name by which they are mentioned. For non-Biblical people, Logos/Verbum does not provide comprehensive tagging -- in this case only one resource in my library. However, through Factbook tagging provided by Logos/Verbum and users, many more resources are identified.
