 In spite of the subtitle—An Evangelical Appropriation of Critical Biblical Scholarship — and the fact that neither I nor my audience are Evangelical, I recommend this book to so many people.

Published in 2008, it's a more technical version of his 2012 Sacred Word, Broken Word: Biblical Authority and the Dark Side of Scripture
