Can someone identify this feature for me?
I opened the Exegetical tool the other day learning how to do word studies more efficiently, then when I went into my main layout, this tool was open under my my Bible. I wish I had discovered this tool a long time ago, and now that I have discovered it I need help!
1. Could someone identify what this tool is, how I enabled it, and how I would disable it?
2. As far as I can tell, this is open in the same window section as the Bible. Am I correct?

This is associated with the reverse interlinear for the resource - see https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016304852-Interlinears for guidance on how to use it.
You will see two options - one the ribbon that you found, the other an inline option
2. As far as I can tell, this is open in the same window section as the Bible. Am I correct?
Yes, that is correct.

One use for Reverse Interlinear is visual filter highlighting so can "see" range of Greek verbal expression:
Logos Wiki has:
Documents option is following Faithlife Group Logos Visual Filters and filtering for tag Logos Morphology VF:
The Bible Software Users Companion Pack (2 vols.) has exegetical insights for morphological highlighting.
