Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10+ Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.
This tip is inspired by the forum post: Sermon date always gets messed up when installing Logos on a new computer - Logos Forums
What is the date shown in the document menu? It is
- the date that the file was created in that installation
- OR it is the date last updated and synchronized across all your installations.
On different installations, it has different values if the create date is shown or the same value if an update date is shown.
I set this machine up on Nov 14, 2022 with a minimum library. I expanded the library on Nov 15, 2022. Therefore, those two days are the move common file create dates on this machine/in this installation. Anything after those dates indicate a new or updated item. This can be confusing as there is nothing to tell you whether the date is "date created" or "date updated".

In the library the date the file was created or updated is labeled "date last updated", so there is less opportunity for confusion.
