Logos Free Edition and Packages

Hi,

I'm currently using Logos Free Edition with a growing number of books I've purchased. I'm a long term user of Accordance and am very happy with it for original language work (searches, etc.). What are the benefits of Logos packages, other than books, etc.?

I'm wondering whether it's worthwhile getting a basic package.

Other than books, then what you primarily get with base packages is feature sets.

So Logos 10 Bronze, for example, includes the Logos 10 Bronze Feature Upgrade that provides a range of reverse interlinears (important for a range of searches but from your post that isn't too important to you), a wide range of features and interactive tools.

The Logos 10 Starter Feature Upgrade (included in the Logos 10 Starter Base Package) does similar but with a reduced set of features and tools

Bible Sense Lexicon (Bronze or higher) extends Louw-Nida semantic domain concept by including Hebrew, Aramaic, & Greek, which is useful for Inductive Precept visual filter highlighting.

In the Compare Base Packages, you can click on Compare Features and make some selections. Be aware of the new BP named Disciple that isn't showing yet. I believe it fits between Fundamentals and Starter.
