Non-Delivery, Non-Reply from Verbum / Logos Bible Software

I reside in Australia and purchased Bible Books online from Verbum last August- no delivery, and no reply to emails (sent to cs@verbum.com and customerservice@faithlife.com).

I only received an auto-reply email asking me to call 1-800-875-6467 or 1-360-527-1700- which cannot be done outside of USA.

There was also no refund made.

Can I check if anyone knows if these websites are scams, or if there is any other email contact email?

Thanking you.

TG

Welcome to the forums. No, there is no scam. If you provide us with a title or two we can see if it is in our library but:

    1. Have you downloaded the Verbum software? (or Logos software works as well).
    2. Did you sign into the software using the same email address you used to purchase the missing books?
    3. Have you tried "Update now" in the Command line and waited to see if the books downloaded?

    OR

    1. Have you signed into the web application and checked to see if you can access the missing books there?

OR ... do the same for the mobile app which I don't use.

    Thank you MJ Smith.

I only have the Verbum Order No.25554268 (purchased on 31.8.2022) but never delivered / received. These were for the following books:-

    (i) Dead Sea Scrolls and the Bible;

(ii) The Didache : A Window on the Earliest Christians

    (iii) Basil of Caesarea

(iv) Reading the Apostolic Fathers : A Student's Intro, 2nd Ed; and

(vi) The Gospel of Mark: A Commentary.

I am unsure what you mean by 'accessing the missing books' as these were all hard-copy purchases from verbal- which never arrived.

    Kind Regards

These are not physical books to be sent in the mail to be delivered. You download them into your digital library...the books are digital. Logos nor Verbum sell print books,

    all hard-copy purchases

The problem is now clear. Verbum does not sell hard-copy books. It only sells electronic books. Your receipt for your purchase may have included instructions on downloading the necessary software to read and make notes on the books etc. Do you want access to these books on your desktop and/or the web browser and/or a mobile app? We can give you directions for any of those since you are well past the return period of 30 days.

I caught it because he was using the word delivery, that's my hermeneutic & exegete prowess. [H]
