Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10+ Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.

This tip is inspired by the forum post: The MacArthur Study Bible: New American Standard Bible (Format) - Logos Forums

Depending upon your eyesight (and aesthetic preferences) you may or may not like the default display format. Most users know that they can change the font and the red-color words in the Program settings. (Application menu > Program settings > Text Display > Default Book Font AND Show Red Letter in Bibles. Fewer users know that they can set justification and line spacing as well. Application menu> Program settings > Text Display > Justify Book Text AND Line Spacing.

Here is an example of text with justification turned on (note the straight right margin) with tight spacing (more text, less room for highlighting).

Here is an example of text with justification turned off (note the Jagged right margin) with loose spacing (less text, more room for highlighting).

Here is my default with justified with normal spacing.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
