Do What? Drop Windows?

Went to a lecture yesterday where it was said that they thought Logos was going to drop Windows and only program for Apple products. Anyone else hear anything like this?
xn = Christan man=man -- Acts 11:26 "....and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch".

Hi xnman:
Communication in a Fallen World has always been a challenge, but it has only worsened with the socially and politically induced rapid degradation of language and precision over the last 15-20 years. Your commenter was probably struggling and didn't intend to convey that.

That's my reaction as well. Overall, Windows has significantly more market share than MacOS.

What lecture, by whom? How do they have that inside knowledge? Unless it is an official communication from Faithlife I would take it with a huge grain of salt.
Perhaps whoever gave this lecture meant Faithlife was going to switch their development environment over to Macs? That's quite different from producing software that only runs on Macs, which would be shooting themselves in the foot, and which I can pretty confidently say they would not do.

This sounds like a TOTAL MISREADING of a comment on the Forum yesterday. https://community.logos.com/forums/p/215476/1255511.aspx#1255511
Making Disciples! Logos Ecosystem = LogosMax on Microsoft Surface Pro 7 (Win11), Android app on tablet, FSB on iPhone & iPad mini, Proclaim (Proclaim Remote on Fire Tablet).

I'm a full-on Apple guy, but dropping Windows would be insane. Ain't gonna happen.

I assume you're commenting on Don's post? I don't disagree, but FL does have a dodging/weaving history. Remember Phil saying the web was to be the development platform? Or some sort of leader at least. That lasted a few months.

Probably best to steer clear of those lectures. ;-)
(However it is probably true that many windows users yearn for a Mac)

There could be a seed of truth. More than rumor has it that Windows as we know it will eventually change and not really be "Windows" anymore. So there is that. Logos will grow along with such software improvements.
The speaker may also have been referring to the fact that new versions of Logos may not run on very old version of Windows.
I think Logos on Windows will be around as very long time--perhaps until time shall be no more--which may not be that long after all!0 -

That has always been true:
from About Free Support.Logos 24+ may not run on any Unsupported OS. If it does run it won't get any support from FL.

As long as Windows continues to exist, I believe that Logos would offer a version of Logos for it.
