Drop Down Menus hard to read (black background)

When I click on drop down menus (Files, Guide, Tools, etc) the background is black and the text is a very subdued gray. I cannot imagine that this is the intended color scheme so I imagine it is a glitch or bug or something. Anyone else have the same problem or know how to fix it? I'm brand new to Logos so any help I can get would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

That doesn't sound like any menu in Logos I'm familiar with. Could you take a screenshot so we can see what you are talking about.

To catch a drop-down menu with a screenshot you will need to use hotkey combination; I use Jing and had to set the combo in the program settings.

Jim it may have something to do with your windows settings and the background colours.

The odd thing is that every other time I click on certain menus, they change back to a white background which is what I assumed it should be. I'll click on the drop down menu multiple times and consistently the one time I click it, the background is black and the next time white. Certain other menus remain black and never go to white no matter how many times I click them.

The black box around the menu is typical when the computer can't keep up with Logos. What are the specs of your computer. You also might try the steps at http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_Running_Slowly

That's definitely a case where the video card is choking on what it's being asked to do. I see that on occasion with my ATI 4760 mobile chip on an external monitor.
