Is there a way to buy Sermon Builder as a stand alone module or do you need a Silver and above package?

    You can get the Sermon Builder through Faithlife Connect. The Essentials package will give you the full tool set which includes Sermon Builder. It also includes a 129 volume research library for a monthly or yearly payment. I have used it since it was first made available and think it is a great deal. It includes 3 free classic books per month that are yours to keep. There is a free trial to test and see if it will work for you.
