How to search the verse with word in the specific book of Bible
Hi,
I would like to search the verses that contain a specific Word (For example, Hebron) in the specific book of the bible (2 Samuel).
I am using ESV translation on the web and clicked on search, but it displays the occurrence of the Hebron in all the books of the bible instead of only in 2 Samuel.
I can't do the above search in Mobile app; but instead in mobile app, I can use the search icon and filter by type of books (Former prophets, Law, Histories...)
Is there anyway that I can filter by a specific Book?

I just went to bible my ESV, then went to 2 Samuel click on the magnify search & it will bring up find underneath...hope that helps you.

Try using the search string hebron IN milestone:bible:"2 Samuel"
The milestone constrains the search to a particular range.

Perfect! I assumed that there must be a way. When I went to try and do it in my own to see what the OP was having problems with I failed to figure out the correct keywords and syntax. Once you see an example it is simple.
