DESIGN FLAW: All the Killings in the Bible/killings dataset

I consider it a bug/flaw that there is no indicator of the "imaginary killings" of parables vs, the "actual killings" of history. That seems to be too fundamental distinction to not be available in the label.

I consider it a weakness that when so many of the killings are battle/political in nature, that the combatants of the larger conflict are not identified as they are in the battles data

I would like FL to begin considering moving towards being able to access the data on more dimensions (to use data warehouse terminology). Think of being able to answer questions such as:

  • what killings were perpetrated by females?
  • what killings were perpetrated by descendents of David?
  • what killings occurred in Benjamite territory?
  • what killings were sibling-cide? (So that may not be conventional terminology but ...)

Most of the required data is available somewhere in the Logos/Verbum data stream.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thanks, MJ. I alerted the editorial team for consideration.
