I noted Acts 12:13's translation of the Greek verb o (hypakousai), a conjugation of the underlying verb (hypakou), as "[to] answer": When Peter knocked on the door at the main entrance, Rhoda, a servant, opened it. (NIV) Nearly all of the KJV's translations of this Greek verb translate it as an English verb conjugation, "obey." Having said that, does the Greek word normally imply that the subject of the verb has shown evidence of faith?
