New Logos 4 Mac Beta 4.10.43691 Crash

I was starting up Logos and after the musical tone, it just crashed.

The only chnage since last week was the addition of a new download: "The Resurrected Servant in Isaiah" last Friday, 8/13.

Noticed 2 couple items in console messages - Library indexing may be crashing along with create web section issue.

Idea: since indexing can take hours, can index when anticipating many hours of non-use (e.g. sleeping or activities during day) with power adapter plugged in.

Restart Mac => watch for Blue icon in menu bar.

While indexing, can open indexer.log to monitor indexing progress.

If indexing does not complete, please post new set of compressed log files.

Note: Logos Indexing is processor and disk intensive along with using lots of available memory - may want to restart Mac after indexing completes.

If indexing completes, bottom of Indexer.log should have lines like:

08/12/2010 23:24:08 | INFO | 3 | LogosIndexerWorker | All background tasks have completed; exiting application.

08/12/2010 23:24:08 | INFO | 1 | LogosIndexerWorker | Canceling work.

08/12/2010 23:24:08 | INFO | 1 | MacIndexerProgress | Stopping IndexerProgress timer.

08/12/2010 23:24:08 | INFO | 1 | LogosIndexerWorker | Shutting down services.

Once indexing done, try launching Logos 4.

For web create section issue (on Home Page), may need "blank layout" => while pressing command key, open Logos 4 => on sign-in screen check "use blank layout", then click "sign in"

Note: CMD+Click Dock Icon => opens Finder window with Logos Bible Software 4. CMD+Double-Click opens Logos Bible Software 4 application => Sign-in.

I was able to start up Logos holding down the Cmd key and then clicking on "Work Offline." and it started up.

But what happens now? How do I do updates, etc. offline.

Or now that it works offline, can I change to go online?

Just thinking.

Logos 4 program settings has "Use Internet" - can be set to Yes or No (similar to Work Offline) - requires restart to take effect.

Dreaming: "About Logos Bible Software" addition for Windows and Mac => show Online or Offline status (near version)

Also wonder if Blank Layout works (with online access for updates, sync, etc):

Hold CMD key during startup - check "Use blank layout" - then click "Sign In"
