Highlights
In my ESV bible, I have two phrases that are highlighted with the Box. I want to delete the highlights. The highlight is a corresponding highlight from the NASB 95. I go to the NASB 95 and delete the highlight. The boxes go away.
I go back to the ESV and the boxes remain saying they are from NASB95. I can turn off corresponding highlights and the boxes go away on the ESV.
My question is why do they show up in the ESV when the NASB has them no longer, and the ESV which has the boxes tells me they come from the NASB 95.
Any help would be appreciated.

How long do they remain? I usually scroll up a page or two, then scroll back down when highlights haven't propagated everywhere. That usually works so I've never bothered to track down why they haven't propagated. Sometimes, I am lazy.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

They only go away if I turn off corresponding highlights. Yet they don't appear in the NASB. I turn corresponding highlight back on the ESV, the boxes appear but not on the NASB. Really weird.

It makes sense that turning the filter off and on would force them to redraw.

When you look at the ESV at the same time you look at the previous screen shot, it looks like this.
Open the Notes tool, look for Highlights in the sidebar, and select those that belong to Matthew. Also look at Notes from the sidebar.

Thanks Dave, your direction allowed me to delete the notes. Both were shown as being in the NASB95 Bible but only appeared in the ESV. When I did delete the two notes they disappeared from the ESV.
Don't know why they were attributed to NASB not shown on NASB but the ESV.It is a mute point for I now know how to get them deleted.
Thanks again.
