No More Product Pages... Just Popular Highlights?

So... what's up with so many Logos product pages loading up as just a reader displaying popular highlights? On my Mac I can't even navigate to the product page. There's no way to close the popup that encapsulates the entire screen. A product page doesn't tend to work well if I can't even navigate to the 'add to cart' button. 

It's been like this for countless product pages for about a week on my Mac.. 

(by the way - even if it's going to eventually be a little popular highlights popup that you can navigate away from (which I can't currently), it's a terrible development. The first thing I want to see when looking at a product is never the popular highlights.)

Ok now I see that I can navigate out of these (entire page wide) popular highlight popups, but couldn't beforehand because I didn't have my safari window enlarged to the full screen. I can actually tap on the outer rim of the popup now and get to the actual page that I was attempting to look at!

But.. why O why is there a whole popup page to show me popular highlights? Is there anyone who legitimately wants to check out a page of popular highlights before they even see the product? What is this?

This is a terrible terrible development. I guess I'll go purchase popup blocker software now just for use on Logos.com (not to mention the sale popups that conveniently place the escape button right on the edge of a mobile phone so you can't press it).
