Offline Versions

Hey,

I have Logos 3 Scholars Edition, but I also have Logos 4 Mac Beta version (haven't paid to upgrade to 4.0 resources yet), and i also have an iPhone.

On my iPhone I do not have the NIV or NRSV bible translations available for me to read.

Are they available?

Do I need to purchase 4.0 in order to get it on my iPhone?

If they are available for the iPhone, are they both downloadable (i.e. offline) resources?

The NRSV is available on the iPhone. You can see availability on the product page (http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/nrsv). Any book that is available on the iPhone can be downloaded when you buy Logos 4.

The NIV is not available at this time.

I don't think that web page is clear as to whether the NRSV is available on the iPhone for offline reading. Are you saying it is definitely available for this? You can tell by going to the iPhone app, finding the NRSV in your library and clicking on the arrow to the right, and there will be a section which says "Available Offline". If you can move it so it shows ON, then it is available. Otherwise it isn't available offline.

On iPad, "The New Revised Standard Version" is available offline (ON => airplane sticker in library list).

There are three requirements for being able to download a book: the book has to be available for the iPhone, you have to have a license for the book, and you have to have a license for Logos 4. If you have a license for Logos 4, any book that is available online is available offline, with two exceptions. There are one or two books we make available for free, but those books are not included in most base packages so most users don't have a license. There are some books that cause an error to occur while being prepared for download; this is a bug, please report it so we can fix it for that resource.

On the iPad, I have resources purchased under Logos 3, they are available online on my iPad, I have purchased a license for Logos 4 (Leader's Library), but have not yet been able to get any content offline (the selection tab will not move). Am I missing anything?
