Can't turn off webinar emails

I keep getting promotional emails from Shawn Grubb about training webinars, but I'm not interested in them. There are links in the emails to unsubscribe that I have clicked multiple times, but the promotional emails keep coming back. I've check my email preferences in my account, and there is not a checkbox specifically for webinars. Is anyone else having trouble getting these turned off? This is analogous to an issue I have a few months ago that was the result in a problem on FL's side that was finally fixed. Perhaps this is a similar problem.

Apparently not. I also had his email address and used it, but I only received a canned or automated response about how to select email preferences.

Since there is no email preference specific to these things, for the first time since I've been a FL customer (as many decades as anyone), I've had to select to receive no emails at all from them. It's kind of sad. But also for the first time, I understand how people on these forums can complain so much about marketing emails.

Since there is no email preference specific to these things, for the first time since I've been a FL customer (as many decades as anyone), I've had to select to receive no emails at all from them. It's kind of sad.

A less drastic approach would be to set up a rule in your email client to automatically send all emails from Shawn Grubb to your Deleted Messages folder.

That would be a good solution, but I notice that these specific emails do carry different names: Carlie Harkins, Kim Harris, Carlie Betz, and more. So I just delete them, mostly at once, some afterwards when cleaning up my inbox. Logos should be much more sensitive of customer privacy. It should send these kind of mail only when the customer agrees to. In EU we have the law General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which stipulates that there must be a permission for using personal information like an email address for different type of goals. The permission is needed for each specific goal.
