Where can I find the Mackie Literary Genre Coding of the gospel of Luke?
In the Lexham Glossary of Literary Types as per https://community.logos.com/forums/t/92669.aspx
Or were you wanting to know how Luke is categorised in terms of Literary Types?
If so, you could use the Literary Typing Guide section (either standalone or part of a Passage Guide)
Both of these were helpful thanks
What is the basis for this reference? How can I find sources on this type of research?
I don't understand the question. A person by the name of Mackie worked for Logos one summer IIRC and assigned genre tags to the New Testament. The definitions of the genres he used as tags are documented in the glossary which you have referenced elsewhere. If you are talking about genre analysis as a "type of research", Longacre discusses it in The Grammar of Discourse; his coding is available in Logos/Verbum as well. I happen to strongly prefer the approach of Martin & Rose in Genre Relations: Mapping Culture which is not coded in Logos.
Many of the books on Biblical interpretation will have a section or chapter on genre; or consider these Logos books:
