BUG: Reverse Interlineat Warning is inaccurate and annoying

The RVI pane should be showing in my fully licensed ESV bible and instead I have to put up with this unwelcome and annoying warning banner:

It permits normal operation only when the bible text fully occupies the panel. If I scroll back and ONE LINE of non-bible text becomes visible, the banner will reappear.

It was supposed to be a good idea, but apparently it has not been properly tested. It should not appear ANYWHERE in my ESV bible.

We are currently investing various problems with the interlinear menu, interlinear content, and reverse interlinear pane, and hoping to ship an update early next week.

That warning should show up as long as the "active text" is not in an area covered by the reverse interlinear. In the ESV that would include front matter, chapter introduction material, etc.

The "active text" is supposed to be the first visible word from the top of the screen that has reverse interlinear data associated with it. This can be overridden by clicking on other words.

There appears to be a bug with this that is prevent the pane from showing its property content unless the first visible word (rather than the "active word") has reverse interlinear data associated with it.

I've created a case, and we'll get this fixed too.

My point, Andrew, is that the banner should not appear in a translation that has fully licensed RVI's for all bible text. It serves no purpose to have it pop up when non-bible text appears.

There is a lot more text in there that is not Bible text.

The alternative to that banner is an empty pane with no explanation why it's empty. That portion of it is working as desired.

An explanation is not necessary until one will encounter an empty pane when bible text is being displayed! Any user would understand, or quickly understand, that an RVI pane has no significance when non-bible text is being displayed (see example below).

The original case for a warning banner seemed clear enough, but now you want to impose a warning when there is no need i.e. check the licenses and act only when a RVI is not available to the user (or not yet produced).

If you really want to improve an RVI with non-bible text:-

then remove the pane altogether. But why waste valuable effort when we understand what is happening!?
