Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10+ Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.

This tip is inspired by the forum post: Adding a note to a single word (selection) AND only a single Bible version - Logos Forums

To add a note to a portion of a verse and only one translation:

  1. Select the text you want the note attached to
  2. Right click to open the Context Menu
  3. Select "Selection" on the left [If reference is selected, the note may appear in all books with that milestone; selection, regardless of how long, is always only for the current book.]
  4. Select "Add note" on the right

The anchor is for the single word "reproof"; the note icon immediately precedes the word "reproof".

To add other single word anchors

  1. select the word
  2. select add anchor
  3. select by selection
  4. select done

As a certain Logosian forumite would say "easy-peasy"

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
