Export to LibreOffice
Copy Bible Verses will allow you to export the verse into LibreOffice. However, when selection a portion of a resource to print, I can export to Word, but I do not see an option for LibreOffice. Am I just missing it somewhere or is not there?

Can't Libre Office use the .docx created for microsoft?

MJ - Thanks.
LibreOffice can open a .dox file. My problem is that I don't have Microsoft Word on the computer where I use Logos.

I use a Mac that doesn’t have Microsoft office installed. Selecting print/export selecting the Word option creates an rtf file and saves it to disk.

What I thought was that one could save the Word file to disk and open it with LibreOffice ... but it has been years since I used LibreOffice so my memory could be wrong or the software could have changed.

Hi Ronald

I tried to replicate this on my system but was unable to follow your workflow.
However I wonder if you have overlooked using pages as a work around? Pages will import text from a wide variety of sources and offers a range of export options.

I'm not sure how you might be utilizing the Copy Bible tool, but when I click on Microsoft Word in the tool, I get a drop-down list that includes LibreOffice Writer. I updated LibreOffice on my system to the most up-to-date stable version and found the tool was able to send the copied verse to LibreOffice.

Thanks. Yes, I can export it to pdf. I can also just copy the text and paste it into LibreOffice. I was just hoping that Logos could add LibreOffice to their list of options. It is available in the Copy Bible.
Here are some screenshots of what I see:

I could. I can do everything I want with workarounds. I'm just trying to save a step. It's not a big deal. Logos probably has more things of a higher priority to focus on.

Thanks, it looks a little different on the apple silicon version. The two sections referencing word aren’t there and “Word” is added to the save to rtf file.

Thanks. The copy selection does have all those options, For print selection I only get the export options (I don’t have word installed). On a side note, printing search results gives me the export option and the option to export to Keynote but not Pages.[:)]
Thanks
