Hi,

Perhaps these questions are answered. If so, would someone please send me the related links ... or ... respond to these questions please?
5 Questions about managing 'Personal Books' :
(1) How does one ensure the creation of ‘HEADWORDS’ in the original *.docx format document, in order to ‘Build’  'articles and / or books' into the ‘Personal’ library?
In other words ...
What special formatting must be done to the original *.docx document, before commencing the ‘Build’ process to achieve the HEADWORDS that I need visible in the uploaded personal book / article?

(2) How does one create an ‘Index’ before adding to ‘Build' up ‘Personal articles / books in LOGOS?

(3) Will LOGOS recognise separate ‘sections' created in the original *’docx document while ‘building’ up an article?

(4) How does one create internal links that will be effective in the 'Personal' books?

(5) Are the indexes created in 'docx documents automatically linked to the chapters? How does one attain this linkage so that by clicking on the index one directly goes to the respective article / page?

Thanks in anticipation of the help to be received.
In Christ Jesus,
Tony.

You should read the wiki article on https://wiki.logos.com/Personal_Books

    1. see the section on Milestones

    2. as long as you specify the docx files needed at  2. Add Body files, just click the Build button.

    3. It will respect your docx formatting (Heading styles, etc.) and build a TOC accordingly. But use Times New Roman for the font.

    4. see the section on Links

    5. The Build process manages these whether you use PB links or MS links

If you have difficulties, then upload the relevant part of your docx file using the paperclip icon (we don't need the complete document).

    Thanks Dave.

Appreciate the responses. In particular, the suggestion to use 'Times New Roman' font is what is possibly most helpful.

I'll now attempt to add in my books.

    Blessings,

    In Christ Jesus,

    Tony.
