How can I find chiasms within the Greek NT? I am looking for biblical texts.
Fundamental but not in Logos:
Logos resources on the topic:
Logos has no coding for them. You can search commentaries, journals, and monographs for them -- or find them yourself.
Commentaries usually point them out so I’d search for the word “chiasm” in all my commentaries (make a collection of commentaries with type:commentary as the rule). You might like to look for “chiasmus” and “palistrophe” too as older writers also use these terms. Commentaries will also have some discussion about whether particular passages are really chiasms- there was a period a couple of decades ago where people saw chiasm everywhere. EDIT: To reduce the number of results and exclude OT results you might want to make a collection of specific series - use series: as the rule and include the main technical commentaries - NICNT, NIGTC, PNTC, BECNT, and Word.
Another approach would be to look up “Chiasm” in a Bible Dictionary. That would give you a trail of references and resources to follow up.
