26.0 Beta 1.
I don't know quite enough about text editing to fully understand what's going on, but I know from a usability perspective this could be improved.
Before we begin, I like having the additional control to add line breaks (without paragraph breaks?) by typing SHIFT+ENTER on the keyboard. In the future, perhaps Notes will adopt a similar behavior and default to having a space after paragraphs, so that when we copy/paste from a sermon into Notes we do not get additional blank lines added to simulate the space after the paragraph in Sermon Editor.
The problem is that there is some inconsistency when copy/pasting from different programs.
For example, I wrote some ideas for my sermon in Google Keep at night (since Sermon Editing is not possible in Mobile... which would be really helpful). Part of what I wrote was a rough sermon outline. When I tried to select a line and make it "Heading 2", everything I pasted turned into Heading 2 since they were new lines but not new paragraphs. I fixed it by pasting with Ctrl+Shift+V.
Later today, I received an email (in Outlook) with wedding vows in it, and I wanted to copy/paste into a Sermon Document. Aha, I thought. I know how this works. I'm going to use Ctrl+Shift+V so every line has a paragraph break rather than just a line break. However, this time Ctrl+Shift+V added blank lines in between every line and it was actually just Ctrl-V that gave me the results I wanted.
Is there any way to make this more consistent, because it is impossible by looking at what you're copying to know which type of paste you need?
