The Birmingham Christian community and the PCA is mourning the sudden death of Dr. Harry Reeder III from an automobile accident yesterday morning. Dr. Reeder was the senior pastor of Briarwood Presbyterian Church in suburban Birmingham AL. He has work published in Logos. Briarwood Presbyterian is notable as the location of the organizational meeting of the Presbyterian Church in America in 1973.
I had not visited Briarwood since Dr. Reeder succeeded its founding pastor, but I have benefitted from his sermons via RefNet.
