Read aloud on Android - Pixel 3XL

I often put my Pixel 3XL under my pillow with the screen off and Read Aloud running at minimum volume. For a long time, it would just keep reading, even all night until I woke up in the morning. More recently, at times it stops reading and may even close Logos itself. I'm not aware that I changed anything. I have reinstalled Logos, but am often still getting the same shutting off. Battery still seems fine.

As a side note, I have found Read Aloud with a synthetic voice a very helpful way to think about the text of any part of the Scriptures and in any translation. Living at this time, we have gained this much expanded opportunity to hear the Scriptures and think them over. This has become one of the things I have found most useful.

I'd appreciate any ideas about what may be getting in the way of the former totally reliable Read Aloud feature on Android. Thanks!
