I am a big fan of the new Logos 26 app icon. But please consider creating a macOS-specific icon that uses the correct corner radius for macOS-apps. It prevents me from sticking Logos in my dock.
Good catch!
Thanks for catching that, I'll take a look and pass it onto the team.
While the team is busily sanding down the corners (and I'm not a Mac/design person), what is the clue? Below are some in my dock. They range from very Mac'y, to almost not Mac'y. Kindle, almost not. And the bottom one, definitely not. So far, the Verbum icon is still intact (that's how I decided to get Verbum).
what is the clue?
I didn't get it either, but since I'm sort of new to the Mac world, and my vision drifts, I assumed it was a nuance-y thing.
I absolutely get it. I have all uniform icons, until Logos, then back to uniformity. Until the round icon that is my mouse software. Which I keep closing, so I don't have to see it.
Ah, I see now. I didn't realize all that was a thing. So, when the OP said the design 'prevented' its use in the dock, it's not a technical prevention, but a triggering issue.
SPOILER ALERT: do not look at the bottom of this reply. The Howard Finster-esque lack of proportion and perspective may cause night sweats. (Amazon is probably on double-secret probation.) It does have advantages, though. I can tell my wife from down the hall: "... the scanner app is the big white blob."
