Weird error on logging into website: "Error validating captcha"

I followed a link from a post on the forum to https://www.logos.com/search?filters=producttype-memorialday2023_Product%20Type&sortBy=Savings&limit=60&page=1&ownership=unowned&geographicAvailability=availableToMe

I hadn't been logged into the Logos website, apparently because I got an error message saying "You must be signed in to filter based on ownership."

So I clicked the Sign In button. My password manager kicked in and automatically entered my email address and password (which have not changed for my Logos login and were correct) and attempted to automatically log me in.

Logos put up this error message:

It's weird because I don't recall there ever being a captcha that needs to be verified, and indeed when I set my password manager to not automatically click the Sign in button but let me do it manually and tried again, I didn't get the error. And then I haven't been able to reproduce it since, with the password manager automatically signing me in.

Just some weird glitch. I guess I don't expect you to do anything about it but wanted to flag it as a possible problem to investigate.

We use Google reCAPTCHA v3, which works in the background (and doesn't require you to enter letters or click an "I am not a robot" checkbox); it's normal that you would never see anything.

Sometimes ad blockers can cause your browser to fail the reCAPTCHA test; there may be other reasons why it fails. If it's not a persistent issue then there's probably not a lot we can do to track it down.
