Searching within footnotes in a Bible

A Bible search can do search for cross references in footnotes in a Bible. For example, a Bible search for bible:"Isaiah 53" would find any cross references to Isaiah 53 in a particular Bible version.

However, it does not appear possible to search other types of footnotes within a Bible with a Bible search. There are some search fields, but no option to search footnotes, translators notes, headings and other types of non-Bible text within a Bible.

For this type of search, one must resort to a Books search limited to a particular Bible. However, this displays the results with about 5 lines of each chapter and only the chapter number is displayed as the heading (e.g. chapter 15, rather than Exodus 15). This is not as helpful as a verse display with the footnote number highlighted.

I would like to request more availability of search fields within Bible searches. Right now in a Bible search, the only fields available are Surface Text and Words of Christ. But by default, there is the hidden ability to search within cross references for Bible references. It is not clear if entering a Bible reference actually searches all footnotes or only cross reference footnotes. It is not even clear whether it is searching all of the text within the cross reference footnotes or only Bible references.

I can get that someone searching a Bible would not want to search the section heading that the translators included. But at the least the additional field should be included called "Cross References", so it is clear that those are the only things that can be searched in a Bible search.

If a Bible were to include a cross reference to non-canonical ancient sources, would that be included in a Bible search? What about the apocrypha?

    What about the apocrypha?

It is treated like any other bible reference.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I had hoped so, but I could not find an example quickly. But I gather from experimenting that one cannot search for other ancient primary sources in footnotes without using a Books search.
