Is the limitation of dynamic text to Bibles intentional? Note I ran into this issue in The Book of Jubilees which is a canonical book in some Bibles.
Among progressive Christians lectionaries such as that by Butcher and other resources for readings such as A New New Testament (Tuassig) include OT pseudepigrapha and NT apocrypha. OT pseudepigrapha and NT apocrypha are also essential for harmonies/parallel texts as they provide an essential contextual element. Think The Complete Gospel Parallels by Dewey and Miller. For these reasons and others the dynamic text function should work for any versified text. It appears to be limited currently to Biblical texts, an unnecessary and unproductive limitation in the current climate of religious studies.
