Bible Word Study (Bug?)

I have the ESV set as my preferred Bible in my library priortized list with others including the NLT lower down in my list. There is no setting  in the TOPIC section to alter the translaton to another one as there is in other sectons of the BWS. When I enter an English word search (like worship or atonement)  "in ALL Passages" the TOPIC section populates with various sources, the first being a few verses. The tool claims the Bible references are from the NLT (not my preferred Bible) but it shows the actual verses are from the ESV. The interesting thing is that when I remove the NLT from my prioritized resources then no Bible Passages are shown period.

The tool claims the Bible references are from the NLT (not my preferred Bible) but it shows the actual verses are from the ESV. The interesting thing is that when I remove the NLT from my prioritized resources then no Bible Passages are shown period.

This is happening because the NLT - at the end - has a section called Bible Verse Finder which contains entry for key words such as atonement.

What you see in the Topic section is the first few entries of that section and it appears at the top because your NLT is prioritised higher than your dictionaries.

And the reason the verses (on hover) show the ESV text is because, at that point, the references are simply treated as references and your highest prioritised Bible is used to display them.

Thanks for your understanding of what is going on inside of Logos. I see your correctness to my question. It just wasn't what I expected from the Bible Word Study tool since it offered the NLT as a resource and the detail of a few verse examples from the NLT in my highest prioritized ESV Bible. My reason for the use of (bug?) was because I saw correctness in the result but was confused by the presentation. Thx again.
