Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10+ Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.

This tip is inspired by the forum post: Filter book search results by author - Logos Forums

Note this does not cover everything. It misses journals that have not been tagged, articles in anthologies, entries in dictionaries, etc.

I also tried:

bible:="Hab 1:13" AND journalarticle:author:name

That worked, but it only works for journal resources.

If you click on the All Books link you will get a dropdown where you can enter an author name using author:"name" and then select the corresponding option from the dropdown

This will run the search against just those books written by that author (or where that individual was one of the authors)
