We don't currently support headword panel linking.

Is it accurate to say datatype/milestone linking is supported but field linking is not? If that is not the distinction, how do we know if a particular linking is supported short of trying it?

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Ali's original statement was specifically about the mobile apps. The desktop software does support headword panel linking (try putting two English word dictionaries that only have a headword index in a link set together to see this in action). If you want to know about what features are supported on the mobile application, you probably would have better luck asking on the Mobile App forum.

I'm not at all sure what you mean by field linking. Fields are tags on the text that mark text as belonging to a particular identification class (like "headings" or "Bible text"). I can't think of a way that fields would be linked across two panels.

On the desktop, Milestone linking is what keeps two panels in sync as you scroll one of them. There is also a feature that allows you to navigate dictionaries in a link set with a Bible by clicking on a word in the Bible.
