I would like to read the bible through in the Jewish canon order. Is there a tool or a way to manipulate an English bible to read in that order?
Read the JPS? I believe that if you list the books in the order you wish to read them in the reference section you will get what you want.
That's an interesting question (since canon comes up quite a bit). The hebrew canon was assumed; the greek one is also Jewish.
HI Mike:
Additionally, a couple of options:
If you have a JPS edition, or any other Tanakh-arranged bible, add your usual English bible as a Multiple Book and use the TOC for the Jewish canon to navigate.
Take the docx below and rearrange the book order, compile it as a Lectionary PB, and use it on the desktop app with any bible version you own.

Hey, I was polite -- I didn't ask Masoretic, Talmudic, or Sephardic order. I know there are prayer books using the first two. I don't know about the Sephardic - neither Spanish nor Portuguese are my first language.
Hey, I was polite
Polite is good.
The great academic mystery is how the Jewish canon was not complete before the Christians showed up ... using the 2nd Century BC Jewish greek canon.
That's a tiny bit of exaggeration but illustrative. The key is to watch where Ruth is placed.
Thanks MJ, helpful as always.
