How do I determine the narrative frames in the Gospels?
By close reading of the text so I suspect either you don't understand what is meant by "narrative frame" or I don't understand your question.

A narrative frame is the text setting up the story, often creating a story within a story but sometimes as simple as stating when and where the story was told. Run a search for "narrative frame" (with the quote marks) against your library in Logos to find definitions and examples.
