Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10+ Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.

This tip is inspired by the forum post: Any way to auto save a layout? - Logos Forums

When using a user created layout (saved layout) the layout name will appear in the upper left of the main window. When using a Logos/Verbum supplied layout it will not.

When you close the application, the current layout is always saved and available as "application closed" in the layout history. If you only use one layout you may wish to set the program to open to the "most recent layout" choosing either this device or any device as the source of the most recent layout.

At any point you may save your current layout under a name of your choosing. It will then appear under saved layouts and under the layout history and in the left hand corner as the current layout.
