I would add the rest of the NT writings ...There are various tools in Logos which will enable you to easily compare various Bible translations as you work through Biblical text, and reverse interlinears of Bible translations provide access to some functions for incorporating study of Greek related issues.
Involving yourself with the Bible text is always essential, secular resources (such as commentaries or books on topics) would perhaps prove helpful if and where you with your endeavors touch on limits of understanding of the text.
