iOS app search feature only one window available?
In the past I could have more than one instance of a search window open. Now only one ever is open. When I want a new search I am taken to the ONE and only search window to begin a new search, clearing/ overriding the earlier search….? This was not always so! i have uninstalled and installed to no avail. Help

I keep a copy of the mobile app on my iPad, just to check in now and then, to see if the design improved.
I was surprised at your observation. So, I tried it (offline).
- You're right! It re-uses the panel. What a crazy thing to do, with Bible study. A Faithlife product?
- And offline, at least, every time it re-uses, it runs the old search AGAIN, before a new search. Oh, thank you!
Well, put it back in storage.

JRPK,
Thank you for raising this issue.
We previously changed this behavior to prevent users from accidentally opening up too many panels.
It is still possible to open multiple search panels in iOS. There are two ways to do this.
Tap the plus button at the bottom right and select Search in the "Open Tabs" section of the shortcuts tab.
OR
Tap the plus button at the beginning or end of the panels.

Well, that makes sense? They did think about this at the multi-panel design stage? Or using Logos?

This absolutely does NOT open a new and additional search panel….
I appreciate the reply thanks …still a buggy curtailing of a very useful option imo

I would like to —-not accidentally—- open up more than one search panel at a time as I can in the desktop program….
seems like an odd imposition and curtailment of what was useful in an earlier version. Thanks
