Why Does Faithlife Really (really) Hate to Show Reading Position in its Products

Ok, some credit.  The latest update fixed the issue of layouts not remembering TOC's open/closed status (actually intentionally closing them).  Good.  And I'm on a Mac as well.

But we still have the missing feature (from Logos4 and onwards) where, as you pop into a resource (from a search, etc) it re-positions the TOC to show you where you landed.

Yes, there's a locator bar, but that's where they squeeze lots of successive headers. Not much help.

Today, I was wanting to look at mysticism vs Songs of the Sacred Sabbaths (SSS). That's part of Qumran Secular, and I popped into the DSS English translation 'somewhere', where it was discussing SSS (scroll or intro, who knows). I scrolled up and down a ways ... TOC still asleep.  So, I scrolled a LOT.  And even MORE. (And more.)  Looking for the little  'red bar' (let's not go over-board with easy-to-use).  Is it even there?

Then, there's Faithlife's lifetime reluctance to allow 'users' to close all the levels on the TOC. Noooooo!!  Life will end as we know it (at least in Bellingham High). Instead, 15 years and hundreds of thousands of 'users' dutifully clicking on the tiny close arrows.

Maybe Mark can hearken to the clarion call, here.
