Nag, nag, nag, nag . . . yes, again a post asking how to do something that should be simple (Library Search for Surveys and Introductions for the Old and New Testaments - Logos Forums) reminds me of the Faithlife habit of jumping from project to project without bothering to finish any of them and leaving the user with the ever more complex question of how to collect the various sources of incomplete information into one cohesive answer. There is clearly hope on the horizon with the hard work that is being put into squashing bugs. May we PLEASE get a similar hope on these two tasks:
- Provide definitions for the library type columns. This allows us to use the type more effectively in collections (esp. on-the-fly collections) and library searches and to provide accurate information when requesting changes.
- Finish the task of reclassifying titles out of monograph. My biggie in this area is the desire to have the Bible study monographs (in the academic sense of the term) to have a type so I can search them and actually USE them ... which I think is the purpose of the software.
Once we see this incomplete project completed, I'm sure we forumites will be pleased to prioritize the embarrassingly long list of other incomplete data projects.
