Please help me " Biblesft"

Great Problem!
The worst I know since I have used Bible software from quickveverse up to now is the Biblesoft company. I am not talking about the software but the commnication. I have the professional PC that I upgraded to One Touch. I am not able to use the software, when I try to download it again It shows that as if I don't own it, that I have to buy it as anyone. I've tried to call them many times at different times. I tried to send them by email many times, but it is of no use.I. know it's against the Faithlife guidance line to open up a thread here. But. I feel just as something been stalled. If some one steals do you have to go to the Police station as long as there a police some meters away from you. Please help me. I am happy that Faithlife is credible in comparing this kind of thing.
Blessings in Christ.

Sorry, but you're not likely going to get much help in these forums since this is specifically for Logos. Maybe you'll get lucky.
Do yourself a favor and grab a Logos library as soon as you can afford to do so. They have some great deals available today until Friday with their Blue Friday promotion. (that's my affiliate link)

Tes,
I do not use Biblesoft so maybe not much help. I looked at their website and noted that One Touch does not work on new Macs. Perhaps that is your issue. If not, did your payment go through when you upgraded? Perhaps you did not finish the purchase. That's all I have for suggestions. I hope you get it fixed.

I did full paymetnt right at the beginning I got it for years after One Touch went out. There was a problem with the Software in the beginning some of their support technicians fixed it via the Internet connection. The issue happened after I used it for years and tried to install it on my new laptop. It is impossible for me to connect them. I tried everything I could. I am hopping that some one may help me to forward the issue I have.

Sorry, Tes. We are Logos users. We don't have any better way for you to get an answer from Biblesoft than what you've already tried.
I suppose you could try writing a threatening letter to their mailing address: 22014 7th Ave S, Des Moines, WA 98198, USA.
But maybe the company is failing and not able to keep up with user problems, so you might be out of luck.

Is there a forum of users who use their software you could connect with?

Biblesoft's website has a 2019 copyright at the bottom. I didn't even know they were still around, but that date may be telling.

I’m sorry for your troubles. Years ago I had biblesoft. I found customer support not too helpful. I ended up converting to Logos.

From the comments of similarly dissatisfied customers on their Facebook page, they appear to have closed down sometime around the beginning of the year.

Sorry to hear this.

This is one of my concerns with technology today. Without access to a company's servers, you cannot install the program you paid for on a new computer. I have no doubt that this is to keep people from sharing codes, so I understand the rationale, but it still doesn't change the fact that you cannot use a resource you legally own.

Depending on the timing of your payment EU rules make your Credit Card Company jointly responsible for purchases. I would give their customer service line a ring.

Hi mike , It has nothing to do with payment I paid it at once and I have the software nearly for 20yrs. The update to "one touch" also I paid it at once without credit and I have it for more than 10yrs. There is nothing I owe them. There is money issue. I have tried to contact them through the secure contact form through their web site , but no response. For your surprise my account shows on their website , but with no content.

20 years is a good return, Tes. As Ronald notes above about risk, digital is just licenses by companies that come and go. Plan, but be sad when it happens.

It's now about 6 months after I have lost it. One thing I have to mention is the Library was sent to me by USB . I have it ,but the problem is: after the Dawonload is completed it needs a cofirmation by Email as it was usaly , but now it doesn't accept the Email . The Software desapears.

Tes, give it up. You are not going to be able to get this software to work. The company is gone. Nobody else can confirm it for you. Just move on.
You still have Logos.

Dear Rosie ,Ok. I have just laughed. Well it is only the money otherwise eventhough I have the largest Library most of the books I have them in Logos and the Software was also like Fiat 1934. I can be comforted and be content with what I have with Logos. I am very glad for all your help and sympathy even Faithlife staff. So it is dead and buried. Thank you! you.

I'm with you Tes. I have been a Biblesoft customer since the 1990's. I have spent thousands of dollars on upgrades and add-ons. I too just got a new computer and tried to install it from my flashdrive (One-Touch Professional). I get the message that I have exceeded the number of installations.
I have written to them, and silence. All I asked for was a reset so I could install on my new computer. It is really disappointing that a loyal customer like us are treated this way from a company that produces Bible software! I think at the very least an email stating that we are out of business would at least mean something.
It is also incredible and deceitful that they continue to market their products to new unsuspecting customers.
I am starting over again with another program OnlineBible. I am a retired pastor but still continue to minister God's Word regularly and need a tool like this.
God bless you brother, sorry for your loss.

Thank you Gary, your efforts are further confirmation that we have been duped by a company involved with the Bible. God bless you brother Gary .
