I am extremely dissatisfied with the recent change to creating Passage Lists. It is now much more cumbersome and has eliminated a crucial time-saving functionality. Previously, we could effortlessly drag cross-references from the ESV into the passage list and select scriptures to drag and drop.

Regrettably, this is no longer an option. Although we can still drag and drop within passage lists, this is of little help when we are reading a book. How do we get this time-saving feature back? Thank you.

We realized too late in the release cycle that drag and drop from a text resource into Passage Lists was lost during the update. We are aware of this issue and a fix is forthcoming (though it likely won't be in v27 of the engine).

How do we get this time-saving feature back?

In the meantime, you can add items to Passage Lists using the context menu. To do this:

1. Right click on reference (or text) you want to add.
2. In the top/left side of the context menu make sure the reference you're adding is selected.
3. In the right side of the context menu toward the bottom you have "Add to passage list" You can either click that to create a new passage list or open it to see recently used passage lists

You can also select the text in the ESV and add it to a Passage List using the Add button/menu in the top left of the Passage List.
