Hi, can you help me to search for אלוהים or יד or פנים? How to search for hebrew words by typing?
Thanks

- Easiest way is to find one instance, long tap on it, and choose the three dots menu on the word info card, and choose "Search for <Hebrew Word>" in the menu that pops up. (First image below.)
- For typing directly into Search, you can use h:elohim and pick the lemma or root that is suggested. (Second image below.)
- Or, to have full keyboard control, the best way is to install a Hebrew keyboard in your phone OS (varies by manufacturer) and switch into it.
Hope that helps!

Hi, I have a Hebrew keyboard otherwise I couldn't type the Hebrew words. I am using the LHB but can´t see any result.

I think I pressed enter to fast. I have to wait till the list appears to choose from the words. But what if I want to search for a word with preposition like באלוהים or כאלוהים? This doesn´t appear to work.

That makes sense! The autocomplete only shows lemmas/dictionary forms for lemmas, and not for graphical words in the text per se, which we call "surface" text. Due to the way the lexical/morphological analysis is structured, something like באלוהים is analyzed into two morph/lemma segments. So the autocomplete will show different search terms for the preposition and the noun.It is possible to search for the graphical word with preposition (or suffxes), as typed, you just have to hit SEARCH without waiting for the list to appear to choose from.BUT I notice you're spelling באלוהים with the vav, which makes sense for how you're thinking of it, but in the biblical text that consonant doesn't appear, being encoded by a vowel point instead. The search engine indexes the consonants as they appear in the text, and unfortunately does not have equivalent modern spellings. If you search instead for באלהים it should work.0
