26.0.21 cannot find 1 John 1:7

I attempted several times to look up 1 John 1:7 from the Search function (magnifying glass) at the left edge of Logos 26.0.21 and the results that return do not include 1 John 1:7. What is going on?

The search parameters are set as Top (ESV) - All Bible Text - Verse in All Passages

    My first thought is that the "Search" is looking for "1 John 1:7" in other verses.... not the actual verse itself.  If you want the actual verse itself... go to your bible and type it in there. 

    My next thought is that you want information or to dive into 1 John 1:7 .... in which case you should use one of the other functions in Logos... such as "Passage guide" ...  or you can use Search to look up "subjects" that 1 John 1:7 talk about....

    Do you want to GO TO 1 John 1:7 or do you want to FIND REFERENCES to 1 John 1:7? To do the first in a single book you want to use the navigation box in a panel with the ESV open in it. To do the second, you will never find it in the Biblical text -- you must search the other text e.g. introductions and footnote for any such references.

    Search for 1 John 1:7 can be abbreviated as 1j1.7

    Bible Search for 1j1.7 finds verse reference in footnotes: e.g. r in 1 John 1:9

    Bible Search for milestone:1j1.7 finds the verse
