I own 22 SBs + Constable's notes. More would continue on the flight-path of diminishing returns.

Wow. I need to catch up. I only have the FL one (Logos Study Bible, now?). Freebie. And the Berean tagged along with the translation.
I guess I should get bunches more, so I can correctly assess the text. But DAL's question is interesting.
Wesley, Woman's, Lutheran, Spirit-filled SBs : I had forgotten about them. ESV SB: gotta use it; it's been the hangar a long time.
I bought Wesley, Spirit-filled and Lutheran to get their perspectives in a particular verses. Except I didn't do that.
My inexperienced buying led to this overabundance.
You should put the catch up on a hotdog and enjoy the summer.

You need to learn to "study more of the bible" yourself, this is why Christians in America are so ignorant of the God they claim to know.

My bro-in-law + I are both going thru Ephesians. We email each other the results. I needed more to say for each verse, material beyond what I could come up with. Hence, I use 3-6 Study Bibles + 3-ish 1 or 2 volume commentaries. My bro-in-law, a pastor, uses William Barclay in its original version, plus I do-not-ask-re other books.
Many minds minds have walked thru these verses, so what they say is useful. Or their material sets off warning bells.
In the end, WG, I use both.
WG, are you a pastor? Do you use other materials?

In German, French, Dutch, Danish, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and so on.

I’ve already done that and continue to do that, but for devotional moments, these Study Bibles offer a lot of practical insights. Not everything needs to be exegetical work all the time.

Constable’s Notes are great 👍 I have most of them, but would prefer to have them in Logos.

So far the best Bible study I have come across is "The Reformation Heritage KJV Study Bible". I am thoroughly impressed, so much so that I bought the hard copy for my wife!

That I own, the “would prefer to have them in Logos” part was a reference to the other Study Bibles Logos doesn’t offer 😁

A gentle reminder that not everyone who uses Logos are Christians in America [:P]

nor are all Christians in America ignorant of God

Hi, R. H. Welcome to the forums.
'The Reformation Heritage Study Bible' is very good. I'd go with 'The ESV Study Bible' as my first choice. But it's whatever one prefers.
EDIT: I see you're Canadian. I am, as well.

Not a Pastor- but a Layman. What I'm saying you will be amazed at the background material and connection that our Scriptures contain. You always start there- if you know the Scriptures, what we are meant to know becomes apparent, not someone else's research or understanding. I read other sources AFTER I have read and looked long and hard at what God has given us, I'm old school- Scripture interprets Scripture, the NT interprets the OT- the Scriptures are one book, telling one story and the Author meant for the Reader to know and understand it.
If you start there and continue in it, you and those you teach will be amazed at the understanding they garner from the Word of God.
