Layout issue when opening a new tab

On M1 MacOS, when opening a new tab, the new tab opens with a very small width. The current work around that I've found was to resize the window or the tab and that will force the tab size to resize to the full width.

You have found the work around Andrew.

I think that once you have resized the column you should find that that resource will behave better.

You might try entering 'update active layout' into the command bar. I keep that command pinned to my task bar it is that useful.

Great! Because I'm having the same issue on my M1 Mac.

So a friend just told me that he's seeing the same thing on his Intel iMac running Sonoma, but not his M1 MBP that doesn’t have the beta on it. I'm running Sonoma too. I'll bet that's what's causing the issue.

I'm running Sonoma as well, beta 3 as of yesterday, and it still have the issue. I was also wondering if it could be because of the new Sonoma API changes.

@Savanna let me know if there's anything you'd like me to provide to help along.
