If I am in a resource with a filter and the "+" is selected to add a tab, when the tab opens the list of resources to choose from comes up already filtered with the filter from the resource (see below first image where the filter is "books with DT ....) I was in. this may be handy at times, but how do I clear that filter, so I have a choice of all my resources. I have tried looking everywhere and no luck. If I open a new tab from the filtered tab then it gives me an unfiltered list (like second image) that I am looking for, but is there not a way to clear the filter from the first tab I showed the image for. Simple answer, you can't.

Granted, it's sort of a strange design.

Initially the right-side menu (your illustration) uses the index randomly sorted (eg Bible) or subject randomly sorted (monograph), from the resource you're in currently (as you note). Though the extra '+' is as you describe, it's just a limited number of books (for me, random).  Not much value.

Over-typing the filter would have been convenient (ease of use). I think this was their 3rd try.  They have a hard time.
