L/V 10+ Tip of the Day #240 Export to Keynote or other unlisted app
Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10+ Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.
This tip is inspired by the forum post: Bug unable to export to Keynote - Logos Forums
Computer nerds will shake their heads and think "Well, duh ... that's obvious" while others will shake their heads and think "how the blank was I supposed to know that?". The export list cannot list every application a particular file format can be imported into . Therefore, don't assume that the export can't be done, assume you need to ask around as in the forums.
Lisa Shackelford said:I have a Mac, running OS 11.5.1 after many crashes I was finally able to get slides set up. Now I am unable to export them to use for Sunday School tomorrow. There’s no option to export them to keynote only power point.
Rick Lawson said:You export to PowerPoint then open the file in Keynote. After opening in Keynote you can save the file in Keynote format.
I don't know Mac so I didn't know this ... but someone on the forums did.
